ePropulsion has launched eCore, a centralized system engineered to unify propulsion, power generation, battery storage, and onboard electrical loads into a single architecture. Designed primarily for cruising yachts and catamarans, the system reduces internal wiring complexity and replaces multiple standalone management components with a consolidated control hub.
The platform balances distribution across both AC and DC circuits, accommodating power inputs from solar panels, hydrogeneration, shore power, and auxiliary diesel generators. Its scalable structure enables boatbuilders to expand the installation from basic direct-current requirements up to full onboard power management, linking directly with primary navigation displays.
- Architecture: eCore 96VDC main energy unit with optional eCore AC module
- Supported power sources: Shore power, solar, hydrogeneration, auxiliary generators, and battery storage
- Load management: Automated load-shedding, power-saving protocols, real-time tracking, and data logging
- Display integration: Compatibility with Raymarine, Garmin, and Simrad/B&G multifunction displays
- Software options: Shipyard-tailored HMI interfaces and remote telemetry for diagnostics
