1.2. Submissions are restricted to verified companies operating within the global yachting and boating sector. Submissions from unverified sources or irrelevant industries will not be processed.
1.3. We accept no liability for any errors, omissions, or for any damages or losses that you may incur as a result of relying on any information provided on the Site.
1.4. Submission of an update does not guarantee publication. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to edit, condense, rewrite, or adjust any submission to remove promotional material and align the content with platform standards while preserving the core factual intent.
1.5. We reserve the right to decline any submission without providing feedback.
1.6. Certain images, graphics, and visual materials displayed on the Site — including those provided by submitting companies or generated by the Platform — may be created, enhanced, or assisted by neural network technologies. Consequently, visual content is provided for illustrative purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, idealizations, or minor discrepancies. Nautical Monitor makes no representations or warranties regarding the absolute factual precision, scale, or exact real-world representation of any visual materials featured on the Platform.
2. Rights, Submissions, and Payments
2.1. The software that powers the Site is owned by us and/or our licensors. Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you must not copy, modify, download, distribute or decompile this software without our consent.
2.2. You may download materials provided on the Site for non-commercial personal use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost, or use the content of the Site for public or commercial purposes without our permission.
2.3. By submitting updates, text, logos, images, or other materials to the NM, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, modify, adapt, and distribute such content across the Platform and associated channels. You warrant that you hold all necessary rights and intellectual property permissions for any submitted material and accept full liability for any third-party claims regarding copyright or trademark infringement. By submitting any images or media, you acknowledge that content — whether submitted by you or made available on the Platform — may include neural network-generated or AI-assisted elements, and you warrant that such submissions do not infringe on third-party rights or mislead users regarding essential factual details.
2.4. Updates are published for a defined placement duration selected upon submission. Once published, an update remains active for the selected duration and cannot be replaced or exchanged prior to its expiration. Submissions exceeding active limits (1 active update for standard submissions; up to 6 active updates for Enhanced and Featured packages) will not be processed.
2.5. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove, archive, or alter content or features of the Site, with or without notice. We are not liable for any temporary or permanent unavailability of the Site or services.
2.6. Premium packages (including Enhanced and Featured options) and extended placement services are provided upon request and are subject to the fees outlined in the respective invoice. By requesting a premium package or paying the invoice, you agree to these terms, including our Editorial Standards & Moderation Notice, and any specific conditions mentioned in the invoice.
2.7. All payments made via invoice for Premium packages (including Enhanced and Featured options) are final. Once a package or feature has been activated or an update published, no refunds will be issued. This applies regardless of whether an update is removed due to a breach of these terms, edited during moderation, or if the submitting company ceases operations.
3. Privacy & Data Handling
3.1. Nautical Monitor does not require user registration, account creation, or the submission of personal profile data to browse the Site. We do not collect, store, or profile personal data of our visitors.
3.2. The Site does not use any analytical, marketing, or tracking cookies. We only utilize strictly necessary technical cookies to ensure the core functionality of the website, such as managing search queries, applying filters, and maintaining session stability. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though certain site features may not function properly as a result.
4. Links and External References
4.1. Standard updates link internally to the company’s dedicated tag archive on the Site. Direct external links to the company website are available only in Enhanced and Featured packages and will be marked with a rel=”sponsored” attribute.
4.2. From the Site, you may access third-party websites operated by others. The content of such third-party websites, to which you may be directed via hypertext links, is beyond our control. You act solely at your own risk. These links are not monitored or maintained by us and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or safety of any third-party websites.
4.3. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, warranty, or quality assurance of the information, products, or services provided on third-party websites.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. The Site operates as an information platform for industry updates only. We are not a marketplace, agent, or broker. Any business, inquiry, or transaction entered into between a user and a company publishing on the Site is conducted solely between those parties. We are not a party to, and have no responsibility for, any such arrangements or transactions.
5.2. We will not be liable for any damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or edited information.
5.3. We will not be liable for any loss or deletion of materials uploaded or transmitted through the Site upon expiration of the placement duration or as a result of moderation actions.
5.4. We are not liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages (including loss of commercial profits, anticipated savings, opportunity, reputation, or goodwill), however caused.
