Yachtwave has opened pre-orders for YachtLINK, a certified NMEA 2000 marine gateway that interfaces directly with a vessel’s onboard data network. The device captures engine hours, tank levels, and position data, transmitting the information to the Yachtwave software application to automate service schedules and maintain operational history logs.
The hardware connects to the existing NMEA 2000 backbone and draws power through its drop cable, utilizing local Wi-Fi networks to upload data. It includes an offline capture function that stores readings locally when out of range and synchronizes the backlog upon reconnection, requiring an active subscription and a compatible vessel network.
