Furuno: Expansion of connected navigation ecosystem with new RD series remote displays

Furuno is introducing the RD Series, a lineup of touchscreen remote displays comprising the 7-inch RD726, 9-inch RD926, and 12.3-inch ultra-wide RD1226W. Operating via an NMEA2000 network with or without a compatible MFD, these units deliver vessel data such as navigation, engine metrics, AIS, and environmental conditions to secondary stations, towers, or salons in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Beyond data monitoring, the displays integrate with NavNet Command Center systems to control third-party onboard equipment like digital switching, power management, and lighting when networked with an MFD. They also support wired USB Type-C iPhone mirroring to run mobile navigation applications such as TZ iBoat directly on the touchscreen.
