Rolls-Royce Power Systems presented the mtu NautIQ Bridge “Point Break” concept at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, aimed at semi-custom motor yachts around 50 metres in LOA. The architecture introduces a dual-purpose helm design that transforms the operational bridge into usable guest space when navigation is inactive. When anchored or moored, the primary screens retract to expand interior layouts while maintaining immediate system readiness for departure.
The command interface combines a space-saving vertical screen setup with a Head-Up Display that projects navigation data directly into the captain’s field of view. Automation components connect to the mtu NautIQ Foresight platform for predictive engine and systems health monitoring, alongside planned digital updates for AI-assisted documentation management.
