Propspeed has introduced the Foulfree Multi-Surface System, a clear, biocide-free foul-release coating specifically formulated to protect non-metal underwater components. Unlike traditional antifouling solutions, the coating is compatible with up to 20 marine-grade substrates, including composite materials, carbon fiber, painted aluminum, Hypalon, and PVC. It prevents bio-fouling on operational underwater gear such as transducers, interceptors, stabilizing fins, foils, thrusters, and RIB tubes.
The system utilizes a non-toxic three-step application process to reduce drag, preserve equipment operational efficiency, and lower fuel consumption in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The hydrophobic coating provides transparent physical protection without altering the appearance of the underlying substrate. Supplied as an all-in-one kit with surface preparation materials and application tools, it caters to both OEM integration and aftermarket maintenance.
