Deep Vision Tech: Underwater camera uses onboard AI for real-time video clarification in turbid waters

Deep Vision Tech has introduced the YS-MC, an embedded AI underwater imaging camera engineered to clarify visual feeds directly on the device without external computing units. By combining custom optical hardware with an onboard 6 TOPs AI processor, the camera filters out distortion caused by backscatter and suspended sediment in real time, doubling effective sight range in low-visibility environments.

Engineered for integration into ROVs, autonomous subsea platforms, and remote inspection gear, the system supports hull surveys, port infrastructure maintenance, and aquaculture monitoring. Capable of operating at depths down to 4,000 meters and in turbidity levels up to 200 NTU, the compact camera streams H.265 video at 150 ms latency to streamline remote equipment control and target identification in challenging conditions.
