Schenker Watermakers has expanded its Qube desalination range with the introduction of the Qube 30, a compact unit designed specifically for small to mid-size boats around 40 feet. Capable of producing 30 litres per hour for crews of three or four, the model applies the range’s space-saving design philosophy to smaller onboard installations where physical footprint and energy efficiency are critical.
Engineered with a predominantly horizontal layout to fit restricted lazarette spaces, the system operates directly from 12 V or 24 V DC service batteries without requiring additional power infrastructure. The unit incorporates a proprietary energy recovery system that maintains low electrical consumption at 110 watts while delivering consistent freshwater output.
